Family planning, children, partnerships with equal childcare rights: at iwis the ability to combine a career with looking after a family has been a key area of our corporate and human resources policies for many years.
We are a traditional family firm and offer our employees many family-friendly benefits, for instance our crèche in Munich attached to the iwis "Kinderkette" kindergarten. The latter was founded in 1973 and is Bavaria's oldest company kindergarten.
iwis offers suitable practical solutions to give our employees flexibility in areas such as family planning and parental leave. For instance, full-time, part-time and other flexible working time models, including flexitime arrangements, age-based part-time working, annual working hours or flexible retirement age. Social counselling is also available in the company via the Employers’ Association for the Bavarian Metalworking Industry (vbm) or in our in-house Caritas surgeries. So when it comes to life, work, family and social issues, iwis addresses individual needs.
